This project was to expand and reconfigure existing roads in addition to constructing new roads to provide employee access to the new administration facilities located at LyondellBasell’s Channelview North plant. The work consisted of clearing, earthwork, storm drainage, soil stabilization, asphalt and concrete paving, temporary and permanent traffic control, as well as erosion control and geotechnical testing of all installed materials. A new 3-way intersection was built and a traffic signal was installed to control the flow of traffic between the plant, administrative building, and the main entrance. This project received the "Excellence in Construction Award" from Associated Builders & Contractors of Greater Houston.

East-West Access Road Improvements, LyondellBasell Channelview North Plant

This project consisted of civil construction work to improve the storm drainage system on 10 residential city streets in Wallis, Texas. This work included removing and replacing about 5600 LF of driveway and street culvert pipe ranging in size from 18 inches to 48 inches in diameter. We were also tasked with re-grading about 16,000 LF of roadside ditches and a major drainage channel. Pavement improvements consisted of complete reconstruction of two residential streets, about 4900 LF total. Other miscellaneous work included utility adjustments, inlets, pavement repairs, seeding, sod, traffic control, and concrete headwalls. This project received the "Excellence in Construction Award" from Associated Builders & Contractors of Greater Houston.

City of Wallis Drainage & Pavement Improvements

The objective of this project was to rehabilitate the runway and taxiway surface and markings, reconstruct and expand the aircraft apron, as well as replace and upgrade airfield electrical items and install an 8’ perimeter game fence. Type of Construction: Civil construction included demolition, site clearing, earthwork, soil stabilization, asphalt pavement, storm drainage, and aircraft tie-downs. Electrical construction included removing existing airfield lighting, conduit, fixtures and replacing/upgrading to LED lighting. Fence work included an 8’ perimeter game fence as well as an electrical sliding entrance gate at the main entrance and manual gates for various perimeter access points. This project received the "Excellence in Construction Award" from Associated Builders & Contractors of Greater Houston.
